We women need encouragement and support as never before. We often find ourselves in places we never expected as the result of changes we weren’t always prepared to embrace. We are pulled in several directions at the same time and feel guilty when we can’t do it all perfectly. We have instant communication at our fingertips but may feel more isolated and alone than ever before.
At the heart of every woman lies a deep longing for relationships that go beyond the surface. And these treasured friendships are gifts from the Father. We were never meant to go it alone!

The heart of God has a deep longing for relationships that go beyond the surface, too. Our best relationships with other women are only a shadow of the fulfillment found in a
relationship with our loving maker!

We seek to provide opportunities for you to connect with other women who, like you, long to strengthen their relationships, both with God and those around them. We believe that when we come together –whether it’s to study, to share our stories, to serve those in need, or to simply chat over a cup of coffee – something important happens. Our hearts are stirred in love for one another and for God!
There are many ways to plug in to the Women’s Ministry, so please feel free to browse our programs and simply show up as you wish. But we would also love the opportunity to connect you with a host for your first visit with us to help ease any newcomer nerves. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Some of the ways we connect and serve

Below is a small description of our recurring programs specifically for the women of Signal Pres and beyond! These opportunities have varying degrees of commitment and engagement. Watch our calendar for dates and details! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with more questions!

WOW

Women of the Word (which we affectionately call ‘WOW’) is bible study that takes place on Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 AM, with coffee available starting at 9 AM. Read more about WOW here.

Gather & Grow

Join us for Gather & Grow! The first Monday of the month (Oct-Dec & Feb-May) the women of Signal Pres gather to share a meal, fellowship, and grow in faith together! This is the perfect place to show up exactly as you are– there is no homework, no expectations… just fellowship, learning, and growing.

Fitness Focus

Fitness Focus is our way of being intentional to get out and explore the natural beauty that we have right here in Signal Mountain, Chattanooga, and surrounding areas! Hiking, paddling, and other activities to enjoy together. Keep your eyes on our calendar for the next event!

IHS

In His Service serves our church, the local community, and our missionaries worldwide through small but significant acts of service.
We invite you to serve others and draw closer to other women from our church through this joyful day!

Women's Circles

Growing in God’s word and supporting local ministry is what Women’s Circles are all about. Women’s Circles have been a longstanding ministry at Signal Pres. We meet once a month either on Monday or Tuesday morning from September through June at the church in small groups. All ages are welcome!

Circle of Prayer

Join us as we lift up the needs and requests of the church in prayer! If you’re in need of prayer, please submit a request by filling out a prayer card at your pew on Sunday and returning it in the tithes & offerings boxes in the Narthex or call the church office. It is our joy to pray for you!

BEATITUDE LIVING

Beatitude Living is a fellowship of women committed to working through life-controlling problems and dependencies with Biblical principles and Christ-centered solutions. The group time is structured by the 12-Steps developed by AA and is patterned after the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5). The group offers a safe and confidential place for women working towards recovery from codependency, relational conflict, substance abuse, parenting challenges, the addictions of significant others, or any life-controlling situation. The goal is freedom from dependencies which we find ourselves powerless to change or control.

MOPS

MOTHERS of PRESCHOOLERS – SIGNAL MTN CHAPTER
MOPS, is a place for moms of all kinds and life stages to gather. We offer monthly mom-centered meetings, child-friendly outings, and Mom’s Nights Out! Childcare is currently WAITLIST only!!!
(MOPS meets at Signal Pres but is not directly affiliated with the church)

GALATIANS

Our current WOW bible study.

The Gospel is an invitation to freedom – from performance and fear and for love and security. This Fall we invite you to join us in studying Galatians, Paul’s “epistle of freedom,” and to embrace this wonderful truth in heart and in mind. In small groups and under gifted teachers we’ll take another step into trusting in the glorious good news of the Gospel.
