Summer Trips 2025

SM2 is currently planning four Summer trips!
Venture (May 25 - June 1)
Serve: Chattanooga (June 1 -6)
RYM Camp ( June 30 - July 4)
Serve: NYC (July 4 - July 13)
Registration for Summer Trips is open until Friday, February 14.
  • Online registration: Have your credit card ready for payment.
  • Paying by check: Visit the Student Ministry office Monday–Thursday (8:30 AM–5 PM) or Friday (8:30 AM–2 PM) to register and pay in person.
Trips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a trip reaches capacity, registration will close. If you'd like, you can join the waitlist, and we will notify you if spots become available or additional spaces are added.
We never want the cost of a trip to be prohibitive to a students’ participation. Scholarship is available for each of our summer trips. Download, complete & turn in this form by Friday, February 14 to Bridget LeJeune. Please note that scholarship cannot be used for deposits. Deposit must be paid before being considered for scholarship.

We are stoked that you are interested in one of our summer trips! As part of our Ministry Safe Practices, we are instituting a cap on registration. Due to limited space/spots and leader availability, we are capping each trip at a number that we can wisely and safely have a great time with your students. If you register after we have reached a cap, you will be placed on a waitlist. A final yes or no will be given on Friday, February 14. Thank you so much for your understanding. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Camille Ward.

As a family, please take some time to read this, talk about it, and commit to living out these principles on this upcoming key experience.

Our Mission
  • We're a ministry of Signal Pres that seeks to present each student with the transforming gospel of Jesus, equipping them to live in his love and serve in his name.
  • We call on all students to embrace this vision for our life together: being a community where everyone loves and serves each other.
  • These are simple and accessible ways we can be on the same page as leaders, parents, and students.

Our three key commitments inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18.
1) Respect The Place; 2) Renew Each Other; 3) Rejoice In God’s Will.

WISE ways we want to live out that vision…
  • Expect to grow.
  • Seek the good of others before the good of ourselves.
  • Respect other people’s space and presence.
  • Fully participate in all the activities
  • Welcome others as Christ has welcomed us.

UNWISE ways that hurt and hinder our community…
  • Do not break, take, or mess with anything that is not yours
  • Don’t make it difficult for your leaders to do their job.
  • Don’t distract or hinder someone else from worshipping or hearing from God.
  • Don’t use words, attitudes, or actions to hurt others

“Respecting the Place” here also means being willing to abide by and support the ground rules of the organization and leadership teams we will be working with and the facilities or conference centers we will be staying at.

We will not hesitate to talk with you as parents as needed throughout this event. Participation here is a privilege, not a right: a serious violation or continued pattern of “unwise attitudes or actions” means we may need to ask you to bring your student home.

Thank you for working through this together. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our staff or pastors.

Serve: Chattanooga | Completed 6th-8th Grade Students

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Dates: June 1-6
Cost: $400 per person

This is our Middle School mission trip! We believe there’s no better way to serve than by helping those in our own community. During the day, we’ll work at various job sites, and in the evenings, we’ll gather for worship and enjoy some free time. Our hope is that this trip helps you reflect on why we serve and how God is calling you to serve in your daily life.

We are partnering with three Signal Pres Community Ministries: Hope for the Inner City, Widow’s Harvest and Project 52. All have done tremendous work in the community for many years. Widow’s Harvest is a servant-oriented ministry seeking to worship God by responding to the needs of widows in distress. In addition, they have a remarkable prayer ministry that is led by the widows they serve. Project 52 provides spiritual, emotional, and physical comfort to individuals and families who are socioeconomically challenged due to financial crisis, natural disaster, physical disabilities, and emotional distress. HFTIC is an economic empowerment ministry that provides resources and a Christ-centered community for low-income individuals in East Chattanooga to bring glory to Christ and provide stability for those without. Our work will be mostly labor intensive, and projects will include (but are not limited to) yard work, home repair, roofing and painting.

RYM Camp | Rising 9th-12th Grade Students

Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Dates: June 30 - July 4
Cost: $670 per person

Reformed Youth Ministry (RYM) cares deeply about students and wants them to know the love of Jesus for them and the power of His gospel. RYM serves the local church through its summer conferences by providing space where groups can have fun together, be challenged and encouraged by the word of God in worship and grow together both with one another and with students from all over the country. Each day you will experience teaching, fellowship + activities and recreation. Students at RYM are exposed to God’s word in devotionals, small groups, elective classes, and large group preaching with leaders who help them apply the Word of God to their hearts. Serve: New York | Completed 9th – 12th Grade Students

Location: New York City
Dates: July 4-13
Cost: $650 per person

Serve: NYC is our high school mission trip. We serve in one of the Big Apple’s burrows, The South Bronx, and partner with one of Signal Pres’ Ministry Partners: A House on Beekman. A House on Beekman empowers children and youth to flourish by providing programs that focus on academic, social, and emotional growth and we get to work alongside them in carrying out their kid’s summer program by providing a nurturing environment for the kids to learn and grow.
