“A Mighty Man of Valor…Really?” from Lincoln Rus

One of the major Judges from the book, we meet Gideon inside a winepress, hiding from the Midianites. Though his story is filled with questions, doubts, and fear he remains obedient. On top of this Gideon is called a “mighty man of valor” by God. How can God do this? Because he is the one making the call and remaining faithful.
