Senior Sundae
Calling class of 2022 seniors and parents!
You are invited to two special opportunities to bless our Seniors as they head into a new season of life.
On Sunday April 24, we will pray for y’all specifically in our two worship services – at 9 AM and 11 AM. If you are able and willing to come, please join us! We know that is a tough weekend for some of you, but we’ll save a row for all of you. You don’t have to say anything, but we will invite you all forward to pray for you and invite the congregation to do so as well.
Also, please make plans to join us that evening of April 24, 7-8:30 PM for SENIOR SUNDAE as we gather in the Youth Parking Lot for dessert treats (Clumpies!) and blessing/sharing as families. (In case of bad weather, we’ll be in the warehouse).
During this event, parents will have an opportunity to say something in front of the whole crowd to bless or charge your son or daughter. This is one of the best moments of the year. Keep it short – 2 minutes at most! (Remember: they’ve heard you for 18 years!) Think of it as one simple, final way you want to celebrate them in front of their peers.
If you as a parent cannot come or don’t want to speak in front of others, you can also record a short video for them and send it to Sydney Little in our office at slittle@signalpres.org.
Please fill out this quick form so we can get your name right and let us know if you are coming to either of the events on that day!
FAQ’s
What if it’s been a while since I went to D-Group or I’m not a church member?
Makes no difference at all: come on!
Really? parents, too, on April 24 in the evening?
ABSOLUTELY. Yes indeed. Don’t miss it.
What if I cannot make it on April 24 morning or evening?
Please go ahead and contact Sydney to let us know; we’ll save a gift for you but won’t bother you with reminders.
Does it cost anything?
Nope – just come.
