As Mark’s Gospel continues and Jesus approaches the cross, it’s increasingly clear that the disciples just don’t get it. In Mark 9:30-41, we hear why: because Jesus shows us a new kind of person and a new way of life. And even more than that, he shows us the good and gracious way to experience that new way of life.
