Senior Sunday 2022 RECAP

Senior Sunday/dae is a celebratory day in the life of our church! On April 24, we took a few moments during worship to celebrate, pray, and give thanks for the students God has entrusted to our care here at Signal Pres. That evening we continued the celebration with our Seniors and their families. We enjoyed ice cream sundaes, and each parent had the chance to say something out loud in front of the whole crowd to bless or charge their son or daughter.  

Parents – thank you for the blessing you gave: your words, your tears, and putting your hearts out there right on your sleeve. It can be a long, hard, and lonely road being a parent. But it is an opportunity to learn the heart of God for your children: an always enduring, never quitting, faithful love. We know that you love these students and delight in them. Continue to let them know that and feel your strong support and love.  

Students – you have our church, you have your leaders, and you have your family. Those relationships will change over the coming months, that’s natural and good, but they don’t go away. Lord willing you will find new churches and ministries to learn from that will point you in the way of Jesus and those churches and ministries will come with new leaders and mentors. BUT we are still here – we are for you, we love you, and you will always find a welcome and a home here at Signal Pres!
