Senior Sundae 2023 Recap

Senior Sundae is one of our favorite events of the year! It’s a moment when the church and the family get to partner together to celebrate and bless our senior class. On Sunday evening, April 23, seniors, their families, D-Group Leaders, and staff made delicious (and unique!) ice cream sundaes. Then, we gathered in the Warehouse and each family was given a moment to publicly speak a blessing and a charge to and over their student. Laughter, teary eyes, and gratitude filled the room and the whole night felt marked by a picture of faithfulness!

Parents – thank you for your words, your tears, and for wearing your heart on your sleeve in front of your student. Your words to them are a gift with an impact that will far outlast that evening. Overtime you will have the greatest impact on your student’s life, faith, and relationship with Jesus than anyone else!

Students – we are so grateful that the last 7 years have afforded us the opportunity to know, care for, and disciple you in the way of Jesus. We thank God for the presence of his Holy Spirit in your life, both here and wherever he calls you to go and whatever he calls you to do next. Know that you always have a home and a welcome here at Signal Pres!

D-Group Leaders – thank you for your commitment to these students over the last 7 years. For being a caring adult in their circle who has showed up consistently, prayed for them frequently, and discipled them faithfully throughout their middle and high school years!
