FISH 2022 is in the books!

What’s FISH? FISH is a fun and powerful weekend event at Signal Pres every winter for all middle or high schoolers … we want to spark curiosity about faith in Jesus, hunger for connect with others, and excitement about a life bigger than yourself.   

We spent March 4-6 together and zeroed in on the theme of compassion. We wanted to demonstrate in both word and action God’s heart for people. To live out our faith, not just explain it. To really love, not just talk about it. We told stories. Served all around Chattanooga in teams. Met new friends and strengthened older friendships. Heard amazing teaching. Sang (loud!) songs. Spent time in prayer. Talked it out in small groups. Shared life with each other. 

We were (once again) blown away by students generosity and excitement and energy and love. We were (again) delighted at adults who came from all over to set up and serve and lead and make it happen so students could experience a weekend around Compassion. 

Whether you know it or not, your life was made to reflect the love that beats in the heart of God for people — your heart wired to move toward people, to light up with feeling for others, and to move outward to serve them in love. Compassion is the decisive way that we as humans look at, feel toward, and help others in their need. It us one of the best ways we reflect God.
