Library Ministry

Why yes, of course we have a library–we’re presbyterian! The Signal Pres Library is stocked with all kinds of resources for every age on topics such as theology, spiritual formation, worship, parenting, teaching resources, and other media that enhances the spiritual and intellectual lives of our members and community. The Library also provides books and resource materials in support of Signal Pres ministries.

While the primary goal of our 10,000 volumes is to offer the best books and multimedia in the field of Christian culture and faith, we also offere a selection of recreational reading–books and multimedia for general and current interests, both fictional and nonfictional–for all ages.

Community & Home School Resources

Beyond what you might expect to be stocked in a church library, you’ll also find selections representative of broader intersts. We have biographies, self-help books, vlumes on household maintenance, gardening, cooking, and even pets. You’ll also find books on poetry, history, parenting, arts and recreation, and science.

For children we have beautiful picture books by Christian and secular writers. For juveniles there is a seletion of fiction, non-fiction, devotionals, and science, history, and poetry books. We have a large collection of Newburya nd Caldecott award titles.

For teens there are classics and many wonderful single and series books including mysteries, suspense, science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, romance, and biographies.

In the multimedia areas there are family and children’s movies on DVD and books on CD. Ratings, when available, are noted on each item.
