Student Ministry Resident
Howdy, I’m Savannah! I joined the Signal Pres staff in June 2021 and am eager to serve as a Student Ministries Resident for the next two years. I grew up in Grayson Georgia, a small city about an hour northeast of Atlanta. I am the second oldest of four kids in a family that runs on big hugs and belly laughs. In May 2021, I graduated from Berry College, a small, liberal arts institution in North Georgia. While at Berry, I studied Religion and Philosophy, lived in the residential community of the WinShape College Program, worked with the Chaplain’s Office, and ran with the Cross-Country team. I like to consider my time at Berry as instrumental in helping me to know Christ’s love with my head, heart, and hands.
I’ve got a soft spot for conversation. I mean the genuine, honest, and good conversation that can’t be planned, scheduled in, or anticipated. God has continually used conversations with ordinary people in my life as the means of communicating his deeply personal and incredibly sovereign grace. I unapologetically leap at the opportunity to be a part of these same types of conversations today. It is my joy and aim in life to see all people come to know and hope in this God—the God who loves and delights in us—and to live each day in wholehearted devotion to him. I am so glad that the Lord has led me to purse this calling in this season of life at Signal Pres!
When I’m not working, you can find me on a run or hike, talking with family or friends, or in the kitchen cooking something delicious. I also enjoy a good cup of coffee!
