Paul Manuel

Associate Pastor of Congregational Care

Paul was born in Missouri and raised in Nebraska. After moving to Florida to attend college, he took a teaching position in Ft. Lauderdale where he met and married Heather. All three of their children were born in South Florida: Emily, Elijah and Elisabeth. The whole family loves the beach, but they also love mountains. You’ll find them hiking, biking, kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, reading, thrift store shopping and playing highly competitive games of Catan or Sequence or Dutch Blitz. They love to show hospitality to old friends and new.

Paul and Heather have over 20 years of ministry experience and love to see the gospel of Jesus transform people’s lives, including their own! Their passion is to see gospel communities form that pray for and seek to bring God’s peace to families, neighborhoods and cities.

Paul also loves the arts, history, reading, running, working with wood and sharing a fine cup of coffee with friends.
