Matt Broom

Director of Technical Services

Matt grew up in north Georgia and attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga earning a bachelors degree in music education and a master’s degree in percussion performance. He serves Signal Pres behind the scenes supporting all ministries with audio/visual support, and is well on his way to achieving his longtime goal of being the longest-tenured staff member at Signal Pres. Matt is also the Director of Percussion at Signal Mountain Middle/High School and enjoys cupcakes, Braves baseball, Souther Star peanut better pie, UTC athletics, Mexican food, playing music, Miss Griffin’s Footlong Hotdogs, and changing his Slack profile picture to unflattering photos of Dr. Bowen.
