Middle School Resident

Hey y’all! I’m Lyle and I am super excited to be spending the upcoming year here at Signal Pres, and serving in the Middle School Student Ministry for my residency as part of the Fellows Program.  I am looking forward to seeing all the ways God will build and shape me throughout this experience, as well as all the lessons I’ll learn from the staff, members of the church, and even the students I will be working with. I graduated from Lee University in 2022 with a degree in Youth Ministry as well as a minor in writing (ask me about my novel idea so I’ll finally start writing it).

Some of my favorite passages in Scripture include Genesis 16, John 4, and Acts 10. A few of my interests include birdwatching (my favorite sighting was a Stellar’s Jay in Colorado’s Estes Park), catching up on the list of books I need to read, and spending time in aquariums. I am incredibly excited to start my journey with all of y’all!
