Beatitude Living is a women’s recovery program which seeks to find Christ-centered solutions and freedom from dependencies which we find ourselves powerless to change or control. Some of the needs addressed include perfectionism, control, codependency, or coping with the addictions of a significant other.
We are an anonymous fellowship creating a safe place for women to work the 12 Steps developed by AA and patterned after the Beatitudes in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount.
We meet every Wednesday in Room 303 of the Cornerstone Building from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. For more information, email Christie or call at (423) 886-2190.
Apples of Gold
Women are searching for community, camaraderie and companionship. They also want to grow and mature in their mothering skills as well as in their spiritual lives.
Apples of Gold fills all of these needs. It’s a nurturing, intergenerational connection that teaches women how to love their husbands; love their children; and practice submission, hospitality, kindness and purity. By equipping older women to lovingly and supportively train younger women through biblical lessons and a weekly sharing time together, Apples of Gold preserves traditional values.
It rebuilds marriage relationships, offers insight on overwhelming parent-child relationships and emphasizes the importance of spiritual development. Apples of Gold is building up mothers, marriages and lives worldwide.
If you would like to be a part of Apples of Gold, either as a younger woman or an older woman, please get in touch with us and we’ll see that you are contacted. Email Jean Smith or call the church office at (423) 886-2190.
Here at MOPS, we gather moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. That’s why we rally women, in their own neighborhoods, to help them become more brave, kind and honest, one gathering at a time.
So, whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here. Whether you are an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, you are welcome here. Whether you prefer to meet with other moms in a coffee shop, church, park, living room or video chat, we have something for you.
Signal Mountain MOPS meets the first Tuesday of the month from September through April, 9:30 – 11:30 AM. Childcare rooms will be offered for infants, toddlers, and twos (with birthdays on or after January 2016).
