Each September, our church family enjoys a weekend-long Family Camp, held at Alpine Camp in Mentone, AL, just about an hour away from Signal Mountain. This year’s dates are September 7-9, and we hope you will consider joining us!
Slow-down, go deep.
Our heartbeat at Family Camp is to provide an opportunity for individual families, groups of friends, and our church family as a whole to have time away together, to grow closer to one another, and to enjoy being the body of Christ. We do this through fun activities, free time, and group gatherings and worship.
Serious fun. (Seriously)
The facilities at Alpine are just top notch: fun activities as biking, tennis, kickball, swimming, canoeing, paddleboarding, basketball, ping pong, ga-ga ball (ask your kids), climbing, ropes course, and ultimate Frisbee. Or you can take it easy by resting in your cabin, taking a hike, sitting in a rocking chair, lounging by a pool, or reading or playing cards.
Where to stay. There are three lodging options:
- Close to dining and activities
- Open-air/screened cabins
- Can be shared or single family (bunks and single beds)
- Communal bathhouses
- Farthest from dining and activities
- Enclosed cabins with bathrooms
- Designed for sharing (sleeps up to 20 on bunks)
- There are a limited number of private spaces with bathrooms available to those with special medical or accessibility needs. Please describe your needs in the space provided within the registration form.
